



Columbus ICE (Inspiring Children to Excellence) is hosting its annual 5K Walk/Run event on June 18, 2022, Unity in the Community. Columbus ICE is a 501(c)(3) operating under H.E.A.R.T.4 Kids a community based organization that instills the importance of Health, Education, Positive Attitude, Recreation and Teamwork. Our heart for kids is manifested through helping families.
Annually programs serve over 350 boys and girls, ages 4 to 14. Some of our community events include but are not limited to:

Spring Eggstravaganza which serves 200 children

Thanksgiving Give Away provides over 300 families with turkey & all of the fixings

Christmas Toy Giveaway which serves over 1500 households
Race Day Information: Race day packet pick-up and same day registration will open the morning of the event on Saturday, June 18th at 8:00am at JFK Park. The 5k races will begin at 10:00am. The 1 mile will begin at 10:30 a.m. The virtual race can occur anytime between Friday, June 17th and Sunday June 19th at 11:00 p.m. EST. All participants are encouraged to take part in the City of Reynoldsburg Juneteenth festivities at Huber Park. You will get the pleasure of previewing as you pass by along your 5k route.
The 1mi walk, 5k run/walk and virtual race will all be the same price, $30. Register early to guarantee your spot in the race.

Additional Information
Strollers and dogs (must be on a leash) are allowed.
Restrooms will be available right next to the registration area and the start/finish line and will be cleaned & sanitized regularly.
The course is a predominantly on the Blacklick Creek Trail which is a combination of well-maintained trails and paved paths.
Parking is available at JFK Park and Huber Park in the numerous parking lots at the event site.
All runners will receive a finishers medal!
